SALVATION
If you want to accurately understand the
will of God in a matter, a good starting point is His word.
Jesus
saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and
the life:
no man cometh unto the Father,
but by me.
Salvation as defined by Webster's Dictionary:
sal-va-tion: n. preservation
from destruction; redemption; deliverance.
Also:
sav-ior: n. one who saves
or delivers from destruction or danger.

from danger, evil, etc.; to redeem; to protect; to secure; to maintain
Acts 17:10-12
10 And the
brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who

more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word
with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether
those things were so.
